Venor is celebrating its 5 year anniversary this year. Our community and people are why we do what we do…so we are excited to kick off our celebrations by refreshing our space with the work of these students in our backyard at NSCAD University. We are looking forward to talking about the artwork and sharing these young artists' stories.
Volta is a Halifax-based startup house for early-stage tech production companies. We’re creating a place where entrepreneurship is celebrated & taking over the world is expected. "We are a non-profit created by founders for founders.Volta supports the development of entrepreneurial talent through the attraction, training and support of new startup founders. We nurture the best founders of startups in the world, who will in turn create world-class companies. Our focus is on building a community where entrepreneurs can come together to learn from each other, grow their companies and expand to new markets".
Junior Achievement (JA) Nova Scotia provides hands-on experiential learning in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities. Programs focus on three educational pillars: financial literacy, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship. JA recruits volunteers from the business community to collaborate on the delivery of programs, which exposes students to real world business perspectives and ideas.
